The taste of Coca-Cola Blak without the cost.

If like me you tried Coca-Cola Blak and really
liked it, then you will be interested to know
that there is another product available with a
near identical flavor at the fraction of the
cost.
Diet Pepsi Jazz Caramel Cream. Yes this product from Pepsi is almost identical in flavor to Coca-Cola Blak.
Honestly, I prefer drinking from a cold glass bottle that Coca-Cola Blak comes in. Coca-Cola Blak also has a hint of coffee.
But if you're not drinking them side by side I'm confident you won't know the difference.

My wife uses Quicken for all of our business and
personal finances. She will occasionally use a
feature called "Scan for Bills" where the software
will look through all of our accounts and try to
determine if there are any payments made which
occur frequently enough to consider a regular bill.
When doing a search for that today, she noticed
that my favorite local coffee shop, Coffee Crossing, came up as
one of the suggestions for a regular weekly
bill.
One large blended caramel latte, skin milk, no whip cream.
What can I say, it's that good, you should try it.

I stopped at the coffee shop this morning. As I was
leaving the coffee shop I could not help but notice
the big two-story white house across the street
(Charlestown Rd) just received its first whack from
an industrial backhoe. This thing had a reach of
over three stories and the bucket had a thumb for
grabbing. I sat and watched them tear down the
entire front of the house, it was kinda weird.
One of the workers was spraying water on the house as the roof and walls were knocked in, he was using what appeared to be a fire hose and I'm sure it was to eliminate any possible spontaneous combustion. The backhoe operator was very good, it's like the equipment was an extension of his own arm. He used it to make sure the building collapsed in on itself instead of outward.
I left after about 20 minutes, I'm sure the next time I drive by it will be gone.

Now that he knows. The owner (Alan) allowed me to
setup my business cards in his store a couple weeks
ago and now he knows what I do.
So this morning after getting my coffee he was quizzing me on a download problem he was having.
Simple enough since the problem was not his, 400+MB file. Anyway my card was full so my coffee was free this morning, it doesn't get any better than that.
